And the parade continues....

So there were lots more floats, Chinese kites, a dromedary, bands and soldiers from different guard units. And then, bringing up the end of the line, the Lord Mayor of the City of London in his £100,000+ carriage! I thought my sister Julia would love a ride in it. He got his 'blessing' and now he'll continue down to the Royal Courts of Justice.

So I thought that the parade would come back the way it came (it seemed that way on the map) so I hung out at St. Paul's for a while (not a sad thing; I'll explain later)and got my picture taken with a loverly Pearly Queen (she was a tour guide for the city of London and admitted that she wasn't a true Pearly Queen, but that she was 'Cockney' and that the Pearlies were okay with her doing this).

So 'Mr. I rarely know what's going on' finally realized that the parade wasn't coming back and started to walk towards the Thames (that's where the Mayor was coming back) and there was the same parade I saw earlier. I thought these guys were the coolest, so I include them here - they probably have some kind of name, but I don't know it.

Overall the parade was a lot of fun and a cool way to pass the morning.
