Be cool, stay in school....FORR-EVER! ;)

Here I am at my new escuela, University College London. Apparently it was the 'original' University of London college, but 'bright ideas' changed all of that. This is called the 'Quadrangle'. It was built on a trash heap as a way to open education to all (I'll get this wrong, but apparently you had to be Anglican to graduate from Oxford and Anglican to be admitted to Cambridge - point is, no Catholics, no Jews, no nobody else in England apparently could go to 'uni' ;) - UCL changed all that!

This is Jeremy Bentham, the 'spiritual father' of the university. That's actually him though! He willed that his remains be mummified and now he just sits in one of the foyers of the Quadrangle building. The head is a wax replica, but everything else is real - his real head is in the university vault because of its tendency to go wandering, i.e. mischief, pranks, etc.
