My First Road Show...

I still remember when my Mom was in charge of the ward road show when I was 10 - I couldn't wait till I was 12 because then I could be in one. Well, when I turned 12 they stopped them where I lived and and and...
So it was so cool to be in my new ward of Britannia in the Hyde Park Stake, London. There were all of these people who still wanted to do road shows and loved it. I thought it was interesting to see the effects of how ONE CULTURE (i.e. Utah Mormondom) can export SOMETHING (i.e. Road Shows) to other parts of the world (i.e. New Zealand, Australia, UK, etc.) and then when the 'sharing' culture stops what it exported, but the others continue...very interesting...

It turned out really well and the other wards, especially Stratford, took our lyrical 'punches' quite seriously (maybe that's why they don't do Road Shows really anymore in the States - too many black eyes and wounded hearts ;)

Until Tara showed me the other day I didn't know how to take 'action' shots with my camera, hence most of my Road Show photos are all blurry. Thus, I decided to included this photo so you could get a 'feel' for the show. There is Big Ben and Parliament, the Gherkin building, a Royal Mail post box, a red 'London' telephone box, and our 'Please help us Stuart' sign! Megan and the gang did a really good job! And it paid off...
