Monopoly - London style!

As part of our 'welcome' to Langton Close (our UCL dorm) we were given a chance to play the London version of Monopoly. The London version has the name of London streets on it, and so our quest was to go to these places and take a picture in front of them.

These are very out of order as to how we did them, but here we are 'stopping (people) in the name of love' in front of the Savoy hotel.

I forget why this book store was famous, and why it would be on the Monopoly board, but I just thought it made for a funny picture. I went in and asked the sales lady if she'd take our picture - she thought we were 'funny' as well.

We were slowly making our way towards Park Lane, the richy-rich-rich area of London, when we heard chanting; outside of the Dorchester Hotel a crowd had gathered. I asked a photographer what it was all about and he said that Michael Jackson was about to come out. I told our group that they had better get me out of there before I started protesting/booing! I know it's 'innocent till proven guilty', but...I still can't believe that he was found innocent!

My other comment is, where do they find his fans? 'I feel like I'm on crazy pills!' - why don't I think his music is so fantastic? Am I weird?

And even though this was one of the first ones we did, I'll end with our 'Human Fontaine' at the British Library. What a bunch of maroons!
