How long has it been? - Covent Garden Carousel

This proved to me that people need things to do. We just 'wandered' back to Leicester Square, but finally decided to get ice cream in Covent Garden. Look at the depravity that occurs when boredom sets in!
Whilst riding I kept on yelling for my horse to 'take off' from the carousel like in 'Mary Poppins', but it didn't. Then I was left to ponder the accusation/truth(?) we learn about movies from 'Three Amigos' - did 'Mary Poppins' use 'movie tricks' too?!!!
Honestly though, it was kind of fun - I hadn't been on a carousel in years. However, my age-old motion sickness kicked in and I admit that I was happy for that out-of-control carousel to finally settle down and stop!
