The First Day...

Here is a view from my dorm kitchen window. I was really happy that I was on the top floor (less noise), and then there was even 'less-er' ;) noise because my roommates weren't loud party-ers. It was also cool that one of my roommates had lived in the building for a while = I didn't have to buy pots/pans/etc., like I did elsewhere.The very tired face of a man trying to overcome 9+ jet-lag. I can't believe I do that to myself over and over again! I say 'Oh, I'll just take a short nap' and that begins at 3pm, but then lasts until 9pm and then I'm 'up' for the night! Grrr....this jet-lag was really 'tough' on me compared with the others in the past - it's just a sign that I'm getting old. Don't fight it, embrace it....
